Director Global Network Strategy - Microsoft
Frank Rey has been with Microsoft since July 2013. He is responsible for Microsoft’s global network strategy: managing network investments, partnerships and overall market relationships between telecom and technology supporting Microsoft’s mobile first, cloud first build-out globally. Prior to joining Microsoft in July 2013, Frank spent 2 years as VP of Capacity Management at Hibernia Networks, managing network planning, acquisition and implementation of Hibernia’s global infrastructure for its wholesale, financial and media business units. From 1999 to 2011 Frank lived and worked in Frankfurt, Germany and was a contributing founder of Tiscali International Network (Tinet, AS3257). He ran Delivery & Procurement for the 5th largest wholesale IP Transit backbone worldwide at the time of its sale to Neutral Tandem in 2010 (now part of GTT).
